Mauve Rosette
The piece
Mauve Rosette is laid out like a tiled ceiling. A six-pointed star medallion sits at the center, circled by a ring of ovals, and a field of round rosettes, each holding a plum star, surrounds it. The palette is dusty rose and mauve with ochre gold and deep aubergine, touched with faint sage, and a striped border frames the whole design. It brings pattern and warmth to a living room or a formal hall.
