Aubergine Palmette
The piece
Aubergine Palmette lays large sand and cream palmettes over a deep aubergine field, linked by thin branching stems that reach across the whole ground. Small touches of rust and gold sit at the heart of each bloom. A brick red border of curling leaves and rosettes frames the field with warmth. The dark ground and open drawing give it a relaxed, grounded look in a living room, a study or a bedroom.
