Scarlet Ripple
The piece
Scarlet Ripple sends concentric rings outward from a small target at its centre, laid over a dense ground of black zigzags and vertical stripes. Shades of red, crimson and pink build the rings, with flashes of bright cyan breaking through, and a wide plain scarlet border frames the whole field. The effect is optical and full of movement. It suits a playroom, a studio or a gallery-style living space.
