Wine Medallion
The piece
Wine Medallion sets an ivory lozenge medallion with a navy centre on a deep wine red field covered in a small herati repeat. Navy corners and two ivory pendants carry the design along the length of the rug. The ivory border runs a scrolling vine in slate blue, sage and red between narrow guard stripes. The dark red ground and pale frame give a warm, traditional note to an entrance, a hallway or a family room.
