Onyx Stipple
The piece
Onyx Stipple is almost entirely black, broken only by fine horizontal rows of tiny dots in pale lime and soft blue. The dots swell and fade from row to row, so bands of light seem to drift down the length of the rug. Faint vertical seams divide the field into quiet panels. It gives a dark, graphic base to a media room, a modern study or a minimal bedroom.
