Pewter Labyrinth
The piece
Pewter Labyrinth is drawn entirely in fine parallel lines. Ribbed channels of soft pewter grey and ivory turn at right angles, stepping inward in nested bands that build a large cross-shaped maze across the field. The ribbing gives the surface a corded feel, and the pale lines catch the light as you walk past. It suits a calm living room or bedroom where pattern should read as texture rather than color.
