Taupe Trellis
The piece
Taupe Trellis traces an interlaced ogee lattice in ivory over a warm taupe ground. The double lines loop, cross and meet in pointed arches and small diamonds, and they sit slightly raised with a soft sheen that lifts them off the matte field. The low contrast keeps the pattern quiet at a distance and detailed up close. It works in a neutral living room, a bedroom or a long entrance hall.
