Sand Cairn
The piece
Sand Cairn stacks rows of rounded, pebble-like blocks into a steady grid, each column set against a near-black ground washed with deep teal. The sand-coloured blocks carry a brushed, weathered finish, so the pattern reads as hand-drawn rather than printed. The contrast is strong, but the texture keeps it soft. It anchors a contemporary living room, a study or a loft with raw timber and stone.
