Camel Palmette
The piece
Camel Palmette spreads large palmettes and open blossoms over a warm camel field, drawn in soft grey blue, ivory and deep brown and joined by fine curling stems. A brown guard band and a lighter camel border of small repeating flowers frame the field without breaking its calm. Gentle shifts of tone in the pile give the colour depth, and the rug settles easily into a study, a library or a quiet living room.
