Denim Garden
The piece
Denim Garden covers a deep denim blue field with an all-over pattern of scrolling vines, palmettes and open rosettes. The flowers are picked out in rust red, ochre, olive and cream, and pale stems link them in a continuous, even rhythm with no central medallion. A powder blue border repeats the blossoms in the same warm tones and lightens the frame. It suits a formal living room, a dining room or a large bedroom.
