Rust Stripe
The piece
Rust Stripe is built from narrow vertical bands, each carrying its own run of tiny geometric figures, stars and zigzag vines. The stripes alternate rust red, slate blue, lavender, olive, mustard and cream, so the colour shifts as you walk along it. Burnt orange and deep brown bands frame the field, and a fringe finishes both ends. It adds relaxed pattern to a family room, a study or a dining area with simple furniture.
