Ivory Palmette
The piece
Ivory Palmette spreads large, open palmettes and leafy sprays across a pale ivory field, drawn in camel, sand, taupe and deep espresso. The layout mirrors itself around a column of small medallions and leaves plenty of quiet ground between the motifs. A slate blue border of scrolling flowers, framed by sand guard bands, adds a cool edge to the warm centre. The scale suits a living room or dining room where the furniture sits partly on the rug.
