Slate Herati
The piece
Slate Herati is a runner with a dense herati pattern on a cool slate grey field. Rows of small rosettes in black, oxblood and cream sit inside a fine diamond lattice, with curled leaves turning between them. An ivory border of dark scrolling vines frames the field and lifts the deeper centre, so the piece holds its own along a corridor, in an entry passage or at the foot of a staircase.
